Warm sunshine and long days. Summer is the perfect time to play outside and that is why we are stoked for Dirtbag Darling‘s 30 day Play Outside June challenge. So stoked that Mi Ola is participating in the challenge! Although we do live in a tropical paradise, sometimes we need some extra motivation to step away from the computer and go outside! (If we were all play and no work , you wouldn’t be rocking your Mi Ola bikinis and you might be worrying about if your suit was going to slip or fall off!)
We will be posting pictures every day on Instagram and Facebook. It’s simple and fun; all you have to do is go outside and have fun while doing something active! Like…
Yoga,
Mi Ola Brand Ambassador Ginger Harris
hiking, sunset strolling, dancing in the rain, surfing,
Mi Ola Team Rider Kristina Ullrich
running (or even better skipping!), SUPing,
Mi Ola Athlete Bailey Rosen
cannonballing or twinkle toeing!
OK, now stop staring at the computer and go PLAY OUTSIDE!
If there’s one thing I know, it’s this: You will be happier if you go outside. Right now. Seriously, walk out the front door, leave your shoes on the pavement and dig your toes into the dirt. Soak up the sunshine. Take your bike for a ride. Throw your surfboard in the bed of your truck. Run as fast as you can down the street. See? I bet you’re already smiling. - Johnie Gall from Dirtbag Darling
So how do you participate in the challenge?! Check out below!
Here’s the deal: The #PlayOutside Challenge is a four-week initiative to get yourself outdoors for 30 minutes, every single day, for 30 days—30 for 30. If you want to keep yourself accountable and see what other Dirtbag Darlings are doing, take the pledge, take a picture of your outdoor excursion and upload it to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #dirtbagdarling and #playoutside.
How to Play:
1. Get outside every day of the month from June 1 to June 30.
2. Upload at least one picture a day of you outdoors with the hashtags #dirtbagdarling #playoutside. Also tag me @dirtbagdarling for extra visibility.
3. Make sure to take special themed pictures on challenge days. Challenge days are every Monday (see them above). Just upload whatever that challenge means to you!
4. Share your journey on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and with your friends and family and get them involved—share the stoke, ladies!
Remember: The #PlayOutside Challenge isn’t about going to the most epic places or doing the most life-changing things. Your pictures can be breathtaking, but they can also be of you walking the dog and planting a garden. As long as you are outdoors and making an effort, you’re part of the game! Now, seriously….go #playoutside.
