Anyone wanna take a break from the blistery, snow dumping winter?!? Yep, that’s what we thought.

(We are talking to you Boston…you know it’s bad when you switch from measuring snow per dog breed height to professional athletes. Seriously. Take a look!)

OK, so the airports and public transportation might be shut down…but the internet is still up. Good thing, because we have a visual treat for you! Grab your hot cocoa, put on your wool socks and check out our Pinterest, where we just put up our tropical inspired-Valentine’s Day themed board. If you need a little more dethawing, a new bikini from your significant other for Valentine’s Day might just raise the thermometer a couple of degrees!

Get Ready…

It’s getting cold up north, so the MI OLA team decided to shoot our 2015 look book in our backyard. Why go any further!?! Think metallics, a one-piece, a beautiful feather print, and stunning rash guards. The best part is that these stunners stay on while you #getoutthere!

In three days we shot at our favorite spots in Guanacaste the Northwest province of Costa Rica. Playa Conchal, Playa Avellanas, Boutique Hotel Cala Luna, Playa Langosta, and of course our tropical home base, Playa Tamarindo. We squeezed a lot into the three day shoot, and we could not have done it without our amazing team! From sunrise to sunset the team was working to capture the beauty of Costa Rica and our new patterns.

We can’t wait to unveil, but until then here is a special sneak peak…

Mi Ola Does Yoga on the Beach

Our friend Wendy tested out our Mi Ola Reversible Wrap Top and Double-String Bottoms in Peacock doing beach yoga.
Her verdict? It stays put.
Our verdict? And looks pretty amazing!

Miami Swim Show - WEWE Import

We are at the Miami Swim Show, showing our 2014 collection!
It’s super exciting.

We get feedback on our new styles, meet great people and we get to see what other great beach brands are doing.

NEW OBSESSION: I want PROOF!

I’ve been handkering for some USA made wood sunglasses. Really. And last night, I sat down to watch my “show” - SHARK TANK - and was blown away.

These 3 guys from PROOF wander in to pitch the sharks, and they show amazing ecologically minded sunglasses made of wood, made in the USA. And a portion of each sunglass /eyewear sale goes to a charity in India that provides sight–giving cataract surgeries to those in need.
I love everything about PROOF! In fact, I’m jealous of their super rad company… that’s how much I love what they are doing.

As a beachgoer, I’m always on the look out for new sunglasses, and I think I just found my new pair.

LOVE.

(BTW - they turned the sharks down. LOVE IT!)
