Put on any Mi Ola swimsuit and you immediately notice the difference. Each style features slight modifications from a traditional bikini, which result in an impeccable fit that grips your curves and keeps you looking smokin’ hot. Every component has been engineered to enhance, last, and keep you covered:

All colors and patterns are fade-resistant and UPF 50+ to protect you from the sun. And this fabric won’t stretch out after hard use, so you don’t have to worry about your swimsuit being unable to keep up with you.

When we design a suit, we put it through rigorous testing on a variety of people to ensure it’s comfortable and stays on. Every seam has been constructed to withstand wear and to prevent chafing or discomfort.

Our tops don’t have padding, because padding acts like a sail when you’re in the water – it moves with the water instead of with your body. Instead, we line our tops with the same high quality lycra that’s used on the outside, making them more substantial and less flimsy than other brands.

We hate labels… and we don’t just mean that in an alternative, anti-establishment way. We know that labels can irritate sensitive skin, so we’ve made it easy for you to remove ours without damaging your suit. Really!

We only use hardware and embellishment in ways that won’t get in your way. If a bottom style has rings, we place them on the side so you won’t bruise your hip bones while surfing. Our metal rings are made out of brass (with no coating or paint that might chip off after you’ve worn it a few times) and are molded to fit your curves for a look and comfort you can’t find anywhere else.

Every suit is fully lined to ensure that where you’re covered, you’re really covered. With Mi Ola, you don’t just look great in your bikini – you feel secure, too.

• As surfers, we often size down for suits that we’ll be surfing in for the most secure fit
• Many of our tops have adjustable straps, while all bottoms have adjustable drawstrings, or a grippy elastic in the waistband to keep you secure

Life’s tough for a swimsuit — sunscreen, salt, oils, chlorine, and heat can all eat away at even the highest quality fabrics. But your Mi Ola bikini was made to keep up with you and designed for long-lasting mermaid perfection. With a little love, it can look smokin’ for years to come. Here's what to do:

Always wash your suit in cold water after you wear it, even if you didn’t swim. If you’ve got better things to do at the moment than laundry (who doesn’t?), be sure to at least rinse your bikini to get out any body oils, lotion, sunscreen, or other substances that might damage the fabric.

Baby shampoo will work, too.

The agitation and heat can stretch fabric and wear out fibers, changing the fit of your suit.

Don’t wring out your swimsuit and don’t hang it by the straps or ties – this can cause stretching.

UV rays can cause fading.

Keep sunscreen, oils, self tanner, and lotions as "away" from the suit as you can. That means putting on your sunscreen and letting it dry before putting on your suit. Re-apply with care!

Cement and stone can snag your suit, pulling threads and wearing fabric. Use a towel or sarong as a layer of protection.

Mi Ola swimsuits are 17% Spandex, a memory fabric that can snap back given time to dry and recover. If you’re wearing your swimsuit regularly, alternate between suits to give each one a break and avoid stretching them out.

Hot tubs have both high chlorine levels and high temps, a lethal combo for swimsuits. It’s best to reserve hot tubs for suits you don’t mind fading or wearing down.

We want you to have your Mi Ola suit until you’re tired of it. The best way for that to happen is to take good care of it before and after you #getoutthere. Happy adventuring!

We make shipping easy – our basic shipping is FREE for all customers whether you’re in the U.S. or international. U.S. shipping takes 3-5 days, while international shipping requires 6-10 business days. Expedited shipping is also available at checkout.

We ship Monday - Friday until 1PM EST. If your order is placed after 1PM, it will ship the next business day.

Return Policy

MI OLA is shutting down. Effective April 15th, 2019.

As of March 27th, 2019, all sales are final.

If you purchased prior anytime after January 4th, 2019, you have until April 10th for any return to be received by our warehouse and refunded.

We will be shutting down our warehouse on April 15th, so any items received after April 10th, will not be processed.

• Merchandise must be returned within 90 days of receipt
• Merchandise must not be worn, altered, or washed
• Merchandise must have all tags and hygiene sticker attached
• Final Sale items may not be returned

Merchandise that has been washed, soiled or worn, or which is returned without the tag and hygiene sticker will not be accepted. (Please don't send us something you wouldn't want to open!)

Return shipping is FREE for U.S. customers. To return, please email us at support@mi-ola.com and we’ll send you a prepaid FEDEX label for you to use.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer free return shipping for our international customers just yet, but we’re working on it. To return, please send your merchandise, with the packing list, to:
